While our headache racks are an outstanding tool to help protect your truck cab you can boost their functionality with the addition of our half or three-quarter height rear hoop. This rear hoop will allow you to easily haul long loads without the bulk of a full size equipment rack.
"Why 1/2 or 3/4 height?"
Contractors love the lower height because it's easier to load. The angle also creates more clearance over the cab which is critical if you're hauling a long, flexible load. And, of course, the smaller size of the rear hoop makes popping it in and out of your stake pockets a breeze when you don't need it.
Just like our headache racks, the hoop is designed to fit your specific truck bed. Includes angle horns (pair) for load control and mounting hardware. It features all steel construction, matching black powder coat finish. The half-height (pictured) is standard but three-quarter height is available as an option. Bar height varies slightly between truck models (relative to headache rack) - half-height: approx. 11-12". Three-quarter: approx. 17-18".
NOTE: Some newer model trucks may require drilling a hole in the bed rail for installation. If you wish to know, please call. Also, late model Chevys now have an odd shaped stake pocket. A spacer block is now included for those truck models. See video here.
